Clément Lesnoff-Rocard développe au sein de son agence parisienne créée en 2017 une pratique architecturale fondée sur une expérience spatiale et sensorielle manifeste. Il aborde chaque projet avec une approche narrative et radicale pour mieux en révéler la substance.
Architecte habilité à la maîtrise d'œuvre, Clément Lesnoff-Rocard est diplômé de l’ENSA Paris-Est en 2013 après avoir reçu les enseignements des architectes théoriciens de renom Jacques Lucan et Eric Lapierre. Il acquiert au fil de ses premières années d’expériences, un large spectre de compétences en se confrontant à diverses échelles et typologies d’espaces, du logement collectif au résidentiel privé, du plus petit détail à la grande structure.
Son attrait pour l’architecture naît à Paris sa ville natale, où la pluralité des édifices imprègne sa vocation. L’idéologie et la complémentarité de cette pratique où la technique, l’esthétique et la sociologie se conjuguent confirment son destin professionnel.
En 2017, Clément Lesnoff-Rocard souhaite écrire son propre chapitre en fondant son agence éponyme. Les projets s’enchainent de manière organique, témoignant chacun de son engagement inflexible et d’une écriture à la fois incisive et sensitive. Il conçoit ainsi des espaces singuliers et variés : chantiers privés, boutiques, bureaux, showrooms-galeries. Pour l’architecte-auteur, chaque projet est un nouveau territoire où les limites sont questionnées afin de provoquer une émotion palpable et une esthétique intemporelle.
« La lumière naturelle et les proportions sont mes matières premières. Selon moi, un projet doit d’abord fonctionner en blanc. Les textures et les couleurs viennent dans un second temps habiller cette ossature. » explique Clément Lesnoff-Rocard qui travaille l’espace de manière poétique mais rigoureuse, toute forme de minimalisme et d’architecture essentielle ayant pour exigence de devoir être extrêmement maîtrisé.
Clément Lesnoff-Rocard se fait remarquer avec le projet The Island, une maison située à La Défense, pensée comme un refuge protégé de l’effervescence de la ville. L’harmonie des volumes et la justesse des proportions donnent lieu à une lecture onirique, initiée par l’architecte. Chaque élément se prête à la métaphore, le long canapé en béton devient une plage de sable, la bibliothèque une falaise à escalader, la grande baie vitrée symbolise le ciel, avec ses couchers et ses levers de soleil. Le projet The Island, publié dans de nombreux médias internationaux, est un tremplin pour le jeune architecte. Il se verra par la suite confier des projets d’envergure, à l’instar du bâtiment LVMH Métiers d’art « La Main », dédié au savoir-faire. Clément Lesnoff-Rocard réalise la transformation de cet immeuble iconique du quartier de la Bourse à paris avec son impressionnante structure industrielle et son toit de verre. Cet écrin contemporain, à la fois majestueux et ouvert, véritable temple célébrant l’artisanat et la créativité, atteste de sa capacité à redonner souffle au patrimoine tout en ouvrant de nouvelles voies prospectives.

Clément Lesnoff-Rocard founded his Paris practice in 2017, developing architecture that is rooted in a palpable spatial and sensorial experience. He takes a radical, narrative approach to each new project in order to reveal its very substance.
Lesnoff-Rocard qualified from ENSA Paris-Est in 2013, having been taught by renowned architectural theorists Jacques Lucan and Eric Lapierre. He acquired a wide range of experience during his first few years of practice, working on different scales and typologies, from apartments to private houses, from the smallest detail to the primary structure.
His love of architecture was born in his native Paris, inspired by the diversity of buildings. His career path was confirmed by the ideology and complementarity of architecture, where technology, aesthetics and sociology are interwoven.
In 2017, wanting to write his own story, Clément Lesnoff-Rocard set up a practice in his name. Projects followed organically, each one a testimony to his unfailing commitment and a style that is both incisive and sensitive. He designs spaces that are singular and varied: private projects, shops, offices, showroom–galleries. For the architect–designer, each project is a new terrain where limits are called into question to elicit palpable emotion and a timeless aesthetic.
“Natural light and proportions are my raw materials. I think that a project must first work in white. Textures and colours can then be added to dress the framework.” Clément Lesnoff-Rocard has a way of working space that is poetic and yet exacting, every kind of minimalism and essential architecture requires to be precisely controlled.
Clément Lesnoff-Rocard made a name for himself with his project The Island, in the La Défense business district of Paris, a house designed as a refuge from the hubbub of the city. In its harmonious volumes and perfect proportions, the architect initiates a sort of dreamscape. Each element contributes to the metaphor – the long concrete sofa becomes a sandy beach, the bookcase a cliff to be climbed, the large window frames the sky, with its dawns and dusks. Published widely in the international press, the project was a springboard for the young architect, who was subsequently entrusted with major projects, such as LVMH Métiers d’Art’s La Main, dedicated to skilled craftsmanship. Clément Lesnoff-Rocard conducted the transformation of this iconic building in the Bourse district of central Paris, with its impressive industrial structure and glass roof. The contemporary setting, majestic and open, a temple to craftsmanship and creativity, demonstrates his ability to breathe fresh life into a historic building while opening up new avenues.
